Almost nobody needs a second master’s degree
If you already hold one, the MBA is usually solving a problem you do not have — at four times the price of the thing that would.
A significant share of online MBA enrolments in India are second postgraduate degrees. Someone holds an M.Com, an M.Sc, an MA, and enrols in an MBA because it feels like the next step.
It rarely is. A second master’s changes very little that the first one did not, unless a written rule specifically names "MBA" — and few do.
You do not need a second degree. You need one field added to the one you have.
What usually solves it instead
A one-year postgraduate diploma in the specific field you are missing. Half the time, roughly a third of the cost, and it goes deeper into that field than an MBA does — because it spends none of its time on breadth.
The exception
Some corporate promotion policies name "MBA" specifically rather than "a postgraduate qualification". Where that is the case, the degree is doing a job nothing else can do, and the cheapest entitled one does it as well as the most expensive.
The question that settles it. Can you name the rule, the role or the person that is asking you for this? If not, that is your answer.
